I had a dream that God gave me a long time ago while living in Texas. I remembered going to sleep and waking up to a place where I saw myself standing in a long line. I saw people in front of me and behind me. Before us was a huge throne (giant chair) with a man sitting on it. We couldn't see him because he was shining with glory. There was a being standing in front of him. The line was moving until it finally came to me. This being extended his hand as if He was giving me something so I stretched out my hand (as in receiving something) and He said, " A tree that bears no fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire! " As He place a knife in my palm and upon hearing and seeing this I awoke shaking and trembling. I immediately called my mom and she told me that this was a scripture that God had just given me. I didn't know because I wasn't reading my Bible at this time. Clearly, He was telling me to get right  with him. Because at this time I was living a very sinful lifestyle. This was a wake-up call for me. I  pray that me sharing this encourages you to seek God. God loves us. But God hates sin. And if we don't listen he lets you go about doing what you want then finally since you give no fruit, he chops it down. Scary guys. We are to fear and reverent God. God is real people!   There's nothing like the prayers of our parents. I remembered one night, after coming from the club (I had backslide after my 1st divorce, was undergoing a season of pain, and was a prodigal), dressed half naked, coming in and my dad getting onto me for arriving home late. My mom started crying as she saw me furious, yelling and she said,  " One day, I'll see you in church worshipping God! One day.." she repeated it and I got more angry and I told her, " Never, never! " but this wasn't me, it was the old nature, spirits speaking back to her and she knew it. Now looking back I get overwhelmed, I just got reminded of this as I listen to the testimony of another.
